Price Axis Trading

In EdgeProX, you are able to place trades in multiple different ways. One of the default settings regarding placing orders is trading directly from the chart.  If you do not want this turned on it can be turned off or you can configure this to have different setting than the default ones. 

To begin, you will notice that by hovering your mouse over the chart it will change to be a red or blue cross hair depending on where you are placing the order. If you were to double click on the price axis, you will place a buy or sell limit order depending on whether it was above or below market. 

You can turn off or configure this setting by going to the "Preferences" tab. Navigating to the "Orders" tab then configuring the settings to your preferences from this point. 

            

      

The below image will show you how to turn off price axis trading. This window is where you can edit anything to do with submitting orders via price axis and alerts regarding orders.
