R Trader Pro - MotiveWave Connection

R|Trader Pro Setup

Please find the connection details below for MotiveWave to run as a plug-in to RTrader pro.  For more information on why we need to connect to RTrader Pro can be found here: Rithmic CME Market Data Subscription Fees

Connection details are as follows: 

  1. Download R|Trader Pro: Click Here
  2. Enter login credentials in the Order and Market Data fields. Important: Allow Plug-ins must be enabled
    1. User ID: Rithmic Paper ID
    2. Password: Rithmic Paper PW
    3. System:  Rithmic Paper Trading
    4. Gateway: Chicago Area

 

  1. Sign Rithmic’s Market Data Agreement and Non Professional Agreement

MotiveWave Setup

  1. Register for your 14 day free trial of MotiveWave: Click Here
  2. Your MotiveWave License Key and download link will be sent to the email addressed used to register for the trial
  3. Once installed open software and enter License Key then click Next

 

  1. Input your Workspace Name then click Next

 

  1. Choose a Service
    1. Service: Edge Clear – Rithmic
    2. Username: Rithmic Paper Trading User ID
    3. Environment: Paper Trading
    4. Market Data: R|Trader Gateway 

 

  1. Select your newly created Workspace then click Continue
