Assigning Hotkeys in EdgeProX
Pre-Configured Hotkeys
EdgeProX offers keyboard shortcuts that can make your everyday tasks quicker and easier to perform. You may notice that whenever you click on the drop-down menu to perform a task, you see that some features already have shortcuts associated to them. The screenshot below shows an example of one of these preset hotkeys.
Custom Hotkeys
EdgeProX allows you to define your own hotkeys for various functions within the platform. The steps to create custom hotkeys are listed below
Select Configure. A dropdown menu will populate. From this menu, select Settings.
Once Settings is selected, the EdgeProX Settings window will appear. From here, navigate to the Keyboard tab.
To assign or edit a hotkey, double-click the function you would like to assign. You will see a small "Edit Shortcut" window where you will be prompted to enter a keyboard shortcut to assign to the selected function.
You can repeat this process for each function you would like to assign a hotkey to. Once you have assigned every hotkey, confirm your selections by selecting "Apply" then "OK".
